Our Mission
Tick-borne illnesses like Lyme disease affect hundreds of thousands of Americans every year. Most people don't know there's a problem until they or someone they love gets sick.
Tick Map changes that. We're building the first real-time, crowdsourced map of tick encounters across the United States. When someone spots a tick or gets a bite, they drop a pin. That report instantly helps everyone nearby understand the risk in their area.
Our goal is simple: fewer tick bites, fewer infections, and better-informed communities. This tool is and always will be 100% free.

Built by Safe Tick Control
A Fairfield County, CT tick control company
Tick Map was created by the team at Safe Tick Control, a family-owned tick and mosquito control company based in Greenwich, CT. After years of helping homeowners protect their properties, we realized that most people simply don't know how active ticks are in their neighborhood until it's too late.
We built Tick Map as a free public resource because we believe everyone deserves to know what's crawling in their backyard — whether they hire us or not. Awareness is the first step to prevention.
